Robert rides the school bus

Time for a more personal post!

Robert, my 6 year old son, who has PDD/NOS, has been shining in Kindergarten! My husband and I could not be happier with his teacher, his school and the progress he is making. (I could go on and on about the Special Education administration in Arlington and how they are screwing up the budgets, mismanaging cases, lying, and pissing us off to no end as we fight for our son’s legal rights. But that’s another post for another time.)

Anyway, Robert’s first field trip was a success! He loved the school bus. “Feels like an airplane mom”, and his amazing teacher allowed him to pick his buddy first, because he was MAJORLY freaking out about the bus ride at first. She’s the best. The entire Kindergarten class did the whole apple picking thing and I brought my camera along for the ride.
