Be my little baby - Jamie's surprise maternity session
I was a surprise for Jamie. Her husband Steve called me out of the blue and asked if I was available to surprise his wife with a maternity session. Their baby was due in about two weeks and he wanted to do this for her. So on a cold day in February, I went to visit them in Concord, MA. We started at their home, and I was able to do some family photos with Jamie & Steve and their puppy. Then, as a special treat, I was able to get some images of her with her mother and step-dad as they were visiting from upstate. After spending some time at the house, we headed out to the Old Manse and walked through about a foot of snow to get some wonderful wide shots.
Jamie and Steve gave birth to a healthy baby boy on March 11 at Mt. Auburn Hospital with the aid of the The Midwives of Mount Auburn. We broke the shoot up into two parts, Maternity first and then I get to come back to take pictures of the new family. I'm really looking forward to completing my shoot in a few days and getting this little guy in the frame with his mom and dad!
