Liz and David - Wedding at the New Bedford Whaling Museum
Liz and David were married on October 4th, with a reception and ceremony at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
I met up with Liz and her family at the house she grew up in. While this awesome bride got her hair and makeup done, my second shooter, Vanessa Walsh, met David at his hotel to get some getting ready shots of him.
After that, we all met up at the museum, where they opted for a first look. This was my first time shooting at the Whaling Museum, and there were so many amazing places to go I couldn't make up my mind where to capture their first encounter! Liz and David suggested we do it in front of the Vagoda (a huge whaling vessel that has been restored to all its glory), and Iām glad they did.
After a super successful first look, it was time to sign the Ketubah and then off to get married. After the ceremony, everyone traveled upstairs to a new wing of the museum used specifically for large events. There was great food and dancing all night.
Thank you, Liz & David, for trusting me with your wedding. It was truly a historical day!
