Lindsay and Chris - New Years Eve Boston Elopment at the Liberty Hotel
It’s been a long time since I blogged about a wedding. But here I am, back at it. I’m committed to starting this up again on a more regular basis. I’m just going to pick things to post at random, and I decided to start with a New Year’s Eve elopement! Say hello to Lindsay and Chris.
Lindsay and Chis had decided that nothing was going to stop them from marrying…NOT EVEN COVID! They reached out to me around October or asked how comfortable I would be during such a crazy time in the world. After a FaceTime session with them, I was in love with them and had to do it. We all got tested before the big day, and even though I was a bit nervous, I’m so happy I said yes.
The entire day took place at the Liberty Hotel in the most insane suite ever. When I arrived, hair and makeup were already up and running. Chris was getting ready in an adjoining room and was super careful not to peek at Lindsay because they were determined to do a first look. And let me tell you…it was the most amazing first look ever. From the first look, it was straight to the ceremony, which was on zoom, of course…thanks, COVID. Following the ceremony, everyone took a lunch break, complete with all the deliciousness brought to us by Shake Shack! From there, Chris and Lindsay, along with their parents, hopped in a limo and drove all around Boston for some formals and fun, followed by some night shots in the most ridiculous Rolls Royce Ghost. I have been in a lot of fancy cars, but never a Rolls.
Lindsay and Chris, I couldn’t have asked for two more beautiful people to spend New Year’s Eve with, especially after the year from hell that was 2020! I felt like you were the bright light that gave me hope for 2021…and look at all of us now! We are all vaccinated and ready to take on anything the world has to offer. Love you guys.
I couldn’t but covet the fact that Linday’s shoes were ultra sexy Valentino. While we are on the subject of Italian footwear, Chris was rocking his Salvatore Ferragamo patten leather jams.
Safely heading to the limo for a ride around Boston for formals., like all over the city. It was cold but none of us cared because love was in the air. Corny yes, but so true.
Chris and Lindsay’s first stop was the Boston Harbor Hotel for some family formals. We did some fun photos on our first date, AKA practice session. I promise to blog that later, but for now, I just wanna show off this wedding!
