Practice Session with Anna and Dan at Cranes Beach
Anna and Dan recently had their engagement "practice session," which was a blast. For me, these sessions are like our first date—a chance to get comfortable with each other before the big day. I don't ask my couples to force smiles or pose in awkward ways. Instead, I guide them naturally, letting their real personalities shine through. Now, practice sessions can be tricky because the couple doesn’t know what to expect, and to be honest, neither do I. But, about 10 minutes in, my nervous energy melted away because it was unbelievable.
Anna and Dan were so damn fun, and their connection was palpable. This session was about practicing for their wedding day, and it turned out better than I could have imagined.
We started at Russell Orchards in Ipswich, a perfect place because it’s right down the street from Cranes Beach, where I planned to take them the whole time. Everything about the day was so fun and carefree—just like them. Their wedding will be off the hook, and I can’t wait.
